A walk in Miami Beach at night (Part I)

Discussion in 'Landscapes, Architecture, and Cityscapes' started by alexf, Aug 7, 2009.

  1. I rarely go out for night photography. Lately, mostly impressed by the work Dez has been showing of nights in NYC, I was tempted to try and learn this art.

I previously posted some from Ocean Drive in SoBe and upper Miami Beach.

This time I took a walk on Lincoln Rd., a pedestrian street full of restaurants, stores and people. With the D300 in hand, a tripod, and my oh so sharp 28/2.8 AI lens, this is what I got.

Alex, these look great. The art gallery window pic is unreal. Keep it going!

    Hi Alex,
great series! I also like the stars in the background of the last photo (at f/11).

  4. Wow, I absolutely love number four. Really like how the person on the left is just entering the frame. Nice shot.

  5. That was luck. I waited until people crossed the frame. The second shot was the winner.
