I had the privilege to cover the A10 tournament this past weekend in Atlantic City, NJ. It was a long weekend, 7 games in 3 days. It was a great learning experience and was able to learn and network with a bunch of great photographers.
Here are the shots I used two cameras
D3 and the 70-200 ISO 3200 f 3.2 1/800s
D300 300 2.8 ISO 2000 f 2.8 1/640 s
#1 Verne Lundquist and Bill Raftery who called the game

Hey Mike,

Stellar coverage! Great shots of the coach with the net & the team with the hardware. I caught a couple minutes of this game on tv & looked for you sitting on the floor by the net (you mentioned in one of the other threads you were covering the tournament) but some of the cheerleaders distracted me!

Hope you had fun!

Take care,

Brent

Mike,
You did an awesome job covering this game. Great shots. I really see how important it is to make sure the ball is in in the shot. Ball and net even better yet.
Thanks yes the ball means a lot but you can get some nice pictures without the ball alos.
Simply outstanding Mike!
Thansk you
stellar Mike.
Thanks Chris
Amazing again, yawn... no big deal for you right? I never get tired of your stuff!
Thanks Steve, could be my last basketball of the year, I am supposed to cover the Womans sweet sixteen here in Philly but one never knows when it comes to credentials.

So clean! I continue to hope to someday achieve your results. Of course, high school gyms are my current excuse. That and not having a 300/2.8...lol!

Outstnding work as always!

Thanks so much
Just keep at it shooting in lowly lit gyms is what makes you have a great understadining of how to ekk out pictures under harsh condtions. That will pay dividends whne shooting in some btter environments. For bball a 70-200 is the bread and butter lens
