Adios, midnight sun..

    Well, its that time of the year when the sun finally dips below the horizon up here at 69.18 N. Here are a couple of shots taken yesterday, just as the sun sinks into ocean.

    Shot with D200, Sigma 10-20.

  7. Stunning work. Well executed. You have an eye for composition. I prefer the composition of the first photo, but the extra water in the second really shows off the color. I cant decide what one is better.

    They're both super! Nice job.
  11. Two of the better examples I have seen of the very popular sunset photos!

    It looks to me that the water was very still and the reflections add "everything" to these shots. That and the fact that the sun itself is not over exposed; make these both very nice captures!

    great but a touch of strobe light on the forground would really make these sing. Manual at maybe 1/16 power set wide.
