Very nice captures Allan, nice looking birds you caught. I get a kick out of looking at these taken w/80-400g (I assume) and all are @ 400mm. I find myself doing the same.

Nice work.
All of these were at 400 mm Rob. There are a few images when the loon gets "too close" to my kayak that I need to zoom out, but I would say over 95% of the time the zoom is at 400.

Great set Allan. Your loonictures are going to make me find time to process mine from this summer. BTW, that first one is awesome. Great job on exposure on all of them.
