And a little bit in between. Everything was shot from 1500-4500ft with a D300 and a mix of a Tokina 12-24, Nikkor 50 f/1.8, Nikkor Qc 135/2.8 (mf), and Nikkor 300/4:

First, overflew the Disney area west of Orlando early in the morning. Lots of people streaming into the parking lot already.

The Magic Kingdom (4500ft)

This is an area called "Lehigh Acres" near Fort Myers. Southwest Regional International Airport can be seen in the distance. Lots of roads, canals, and houses spread out.

This is a typical subdivision built on land built up by dredging. They'll go into a square "section" and build up strips of land and allow the remaining portions of the section to flood. Florida is full of these subdivisions.

Now flying along the Gulf coast to "Marco Island". Marco Island has two roads leading to it, one north and one east. Head due-east and you'll find nothing but the Everglades. Head north and after a few miles you run into Naples, FL. (1500ft)

Marco Island is an island, but a lot of the residential property is built-up like the subdivision I showed earlier. Fill-dirt and dredging create build-able land with deep canals for boats. This is typical in many areas along both coasts.

There's a mix of condos, houses, and hotels all over the area. This is along the beach on the northern portion of Marco Island

At the southwestern most point of Marco island is "Cape Marco" - fancy looking. These towers can be seen a long ways off coming back from Key West
