I was given misinformation about this spider so I was more cautious then necessary. I had to hold my camera above my head and couldn't see what I was taking until I lowered the camera. I could not use either the viewfinder or live view. And I didn't know if she was an aggressive and would jump down onto me while I was busy with the camera.
After she was done laying eggs into 6 egg sacks she started to walk away from where she spent most of the summer and I found her around the side of the house and I caught her while wearing thick leather gloves.
She walked all over my gloved hands until my 16 year old son said
"dad let her walk onto my bare hands." !
She did and didn't bit. So I took off my gloves and let her walk all over my heads and arms.
I bought this lens because it is the perfect FL for slide duplicating on a camera stand with a light box.
