Nice picture, never seen a wattled lapwing before.
Injured? Right leg looks odd?
May I ask why f11?
Gary
I think it has lost its right foot. I was actually about to take some pictures of a cheetah and I wanted the DoF for that but, the bird appeared and I took the opportunity to get the picture.

What an interesting bird! It looks like a cut-and-paste of a few different kinds. Btw, we have a duck in our area for a couple of years with only one useful leg, and she's doing fine.
Does the duck swim around in circles? :D

On a serious note I have seen quite a few one legged birds, mostly pigeons, that seem to cope well but, I cannot help but think that the limbs have been damaged due to unfortuante incidents with man made objects.

Nice picture. Not something I see in my neck of the woods.
What a beauty.
Thanks for all the comments.
