This Bluebird was continuously going to these two perches so I setup and photographed him. It was very windy so I had to wait until the branch he was perched on was at its apogee to click the shutter. The wind was really whipping the pine needles and it made for some unusual backgrounds. Kind of reminded me of some old blacklight posters from the 70's. Singing a tune? If you remember the Devo song "crack that whip" I was substituting "scratch that itch" and singing along. I was not expecting a Bluejay to land this close and I barely got him in the frame!
