Age Of Nikkorex F (Please Help)

    Everyone,
    I just bought, an hour ago, a Nikkorex F camera. The serial number is 3994XX. The lens is a 55mm C made about 1973-1974. I've searched, and searched, online but haven't found this serial number range.

    Everything seems to work well, although I have not shot a roll of film through it. Also, I don't have the old style flash.

    It's dusty and has some wear, but it's in very good condition otherwise.

    Here it is. I thought about cleaning it up first, but then I decided that a 'before cleaning and after cleaning' series of photos might be better.

    A friendly and knowledgeable Nikon collector estimates that it was manufactured in 1964. I think that it looks good for 44 years old.
