Seeing some of the photos in the other threads, felt the need to post a few more:

first one titled "1945" a conversion for that wartime look (very low res file, sorry)...

second, one of the few remaining flying p38 aircraft...

    also some recent photos here:

Wade, i like the b17 but the P38 is just magnificent.

I like everything this image has to offer. The composition, the color, the prop blur.

    This is just great!

    Thanks for sharing..

Very nice images, Wade. I like them both, but the P38 is really great.

    Patrick, Frank, Gale, Phil,

Thanks for the look and nice comments, yes the P38 is one of my favs too. One of the last shots from the summer with the 24-120VR Before I sold it :frown:

Anyway, on the P38, when it came taxing in and I saw his arm just casually hanging out the window with the props spinning, etc. etc. the need to take this shot was just automatic, one of those you know it when you see it moments.

I have several flight shots of the P38, but this one is the creme de le creme.

The B17 was from 03 Oshkosh and was taken with the CP5000

    Looking forward to Oshkosh 06
