Airport Security

  1. Just want to tell this story. Was flying to Charleston for a wedding and had my A.R.T. CO2 Refill Cartridges in my camera bag. I have gone through many airports and never been stopped before. But this time, they searched my camera bag. They found my refill cartridges and confiscated them because of the CO2. Did not know that this was a banned substance. Any one carry any other type of spray with them when they fly?

This is off the Transportation Security Administration website.

  3. I wouldn't want to be sitting next to a bag with compressed air cylinders if the cabin depressurizes - I'd have enough to be thinking about at that moment without little missiles zipping by my head *LOL*

As a certified "Dangerous Goods Specialist" I'd say that there should be no reason that anyone could carry aboard "Compressed Gas N.O.S"

Definitely not a good idea, mate.
