Alabama Osprey "It's Mine"

Discussion in 'Birds' started by hangin tree, Apr 11, 2007.

  1. Pardon the picture quality it is raining here and I just went scouting to see if I could find the Osprey again. I found 6 of them and got a quick shot between rain drops. I call it "It's Mine"

    Hope you enjoy

Nice capture Gary. I'm coming to see you this weekend.

  8. I only hesitate because I don't like giving away locations and having hords of well meaning Photogs Chasing off birds.

  9. Superb!! Great expressions and well caught!

  10. That's a neat behavioral shot. Nice action. Well done Gary. I've seen many ospreys in my day, but never have witnessed this behavior. Maybe our Florida birds are a bit more pollite? *-)

  11. Thanks Nancy

I would have liked a little closer and better light to obtain better IQ, but I thought it was a neat shot to post.

Yes I'm sure they are polite to each other in Florida LOL

There were six of them all flying around the same location. I thought they were more territorial than that.
