Alafia Banks Spoonies

we hire a local fisherman every year for 2 hours of snook fishing and 2 hours of bird shooting. There is a HUGE spoonbill rookery at Alafia Banks on Bird Island. (you can only get there by boat)

I caught 2 Jack Crevale and Fred caught an undersize snook. We were staying in an Airbnb so we could have cooked something.....anyway it was a lot of fun. Captain John catches live bait the old fashioned way with a throw net and that was entertaining to watch.
