Spent last week on holiday in a little village called Alhama about 30km west of Granada in Andalusia, Spain. Well off the beaten tourist track, we had great weather, well into the 30s C and blue skies every day. Drank lots of cervesa, vino tinto and ate lots of tapas, just what the docter ordered.

Oh, I also took a few snaps (about 500  )

The town of Alhama de Granada, perched on the edge of a gorge.

People used to live in caves in the walls of the gorge, now used as sheep pens.

There was a feria (fair) on, so the town was decorated.

Spain apparently won some football (soccer) match  (Spain won Euro 2008 last Sunday)
