This is the first in a series I'm working on. Each image in this series will be processed differently, and if each takes as long as this one did to complete I'll be awhile getting the set together. I used pOpArt for this tour boat, but the action destroyed some needed detail which I felt was necessary, so I became involved with selections that could easily serve as examples of purgatory!!

Do it on a dup file and brush out the effects you don't want

I think it is great ...love it
  3. Robert, I agree with Gale here.

PopArtist is a fun action. I use it a lot too.
You can also try blending it with a copy of your original.
Sometimes that produces interesting results too.

Thanks for the suggestion!! I started with a mask, but I had altered some of the colours, and the sky and it seemed difficult to work in that way. I'll revisit it again and see if there is an easier sequence of steps to get to the final. Thanks Gale...appreciated!!

Blending this action is a great idea...I will have to play with that. Sometimes I find the basic effect a liitle overpowering.

    Thanks very much!!
