Oh my! Those EYES!
Yes. They don't get any more wide open than these.
Randy sure brings out the best in his subjects!
Great catch. Using a zoom?

Wow, looks like it was looking right at you. Beautiful shot.
Special.............those eyes look like a Nikon logo colors
Someone needs to shave their legs. Killer shot.
Nice. I tried to photograph these owls when I was in Florida and had no luck whatsoever. I may give it another go when we return this year.
Perfect eyes; lovely shot.
Superb job Randy, excellent shot.
It's almost like the eyes are driven with batteries. Well captured shot.
I don't know, Nick, I think that is how we ALL look the first time we see Randy in person Now that I think about it, might be more appropriate to say "Every Time" ...
We have not had a good year at all with the Burrowing Owls, so seeing this shot makes me smile. And yes, those eyes. Very nice angle as well, Randy.
Fantastic shot, Randy!!! He is looking right at you saying here's looking at you, Randy, capture my beautiful eyes!!!!!!
Randy I have been away from the forum for a while. Sure glad I saw this one. Simply beautiful. I so love the eyes on these owls. We are going over to eastern Washington next week to see the Burrowing Owls and babies. Sure hope to catch some good ones like this.
