Memorial Day, never forget!!

The first shot is one of the WWII watchtowers at Fort Miles at Lewes, Delaware.

The second shot is a 17 frame pano shot hand held with the D800 and 35/1.4G. Even though the image was greatly reduced for web viewing please give it time to load as it is over 8 MBs. Click the pano to see the larger version.

Nice shots!! I wanted to go shooting today, but it's MEGA pouring. I can only photograph the birds from my apartment balcony. Maybe tomorrow

These were taken at Cape Lookout, NC. The lighthouse is 163 feet tall and provides a great view of the bay and ocean. If you are down in the Morehead, NC area it is worth a trip out to the Lighthouse.

Kingfisher - Calico Jacks is a good ferry to get out to the Lighthouse. It is well worth the trip.

Thanks for the tip!! This will be a "must see" for the wife and I this summer. You definitely captured the scenery really nice. Much more appealing than what I found near the shoreline in Delaware.
