  1. an Eagle that is:
    1. flying at a 90 degree angle
    2. its underside exposed to the early morning sun
    3. I am fully awake
    4. camera has been preset to the perfect exposure setting
    5. the white balance is perfectly set
    6. he is close enough to shoot full frame
    7. he is looking directly at the camera
    8. there is virtually no wind
    9. and, as it passed me, it winks

I have began this quest about 1 1/2 years ago. I have spent more money on this equipment then I care to think about. If the above doesn't happen shortly, I will sell all of it and take up a hobby where one has a little more control. I am considering Bonsai.

  2. Excellent images!!!!! That second one is a wall-hanger for sure. Don't bother with Bonsai - no instant gratification like photography. Been there, done that.

  3. I agree with Sandi, nothing wrong with these at all. I might pull up the shadows a touch on the second one, but not a whole bunch.

By the way, thanks for the pointer to the nest the other day. Baby Pictures will be posted in the next few days :biggrin::biggrin:

  4. good point. . . still looking for a hobby. :)

  5. your more then welcome. . . . unfortunately that is as far as one can push it without making a real mess.
