Thanks for the kind comments. As you might guess, trying to sneak up on these critters is generally an exercise in futility. :frown:

I'm a little disappointed in this image - mostly OK, but stopping down to f5.6 would have given enough DoF to get the lead deer's eyes in sharp focus. My copy of the 200-400 f4 is scary sharp . . . but it needs some cooperation from the goober on the trigger. :redface: :smile:
