Critique Alligator - What lurks beneath

Continuing my saga of going through images.
From my first trip out with the new to me sony system.
If you catch the light just right, you realize you are only seeing the tip of the iceberg. The refraction gives interesting distortion to the head below.

I have lots and lots of black and white alligators. Still some of my favorites. This was actually the 3rd snap I made with the new camera body:

Thanks Mike, means a lot you remember them.
My issue now is they all start to look the same to me, or at least I have all the easy ones. Looking for something different- but at shows and galleries the black is what I am known for- and they are well liked. I guess these are getting almost too easy- but at the same time I can not wait to get back out there next spring!
