Question: Will this be the future of photography? A hybrid cross between still and video?

Interesting concept is so. Taking short 1-2 second video clips all day long, or just one long video. Then rolling through 8-10 hours of footage and putting together short .gif files.

Wonder how that would go over with wedding photography.

Very interesting - has that Harry Potter feel to it. The best ones seem to be the most subtle ones. Otherwise it looks too much like an ad.

These are well done.

I have attempted animated GIF's before using multiple shots and tweening in PS5. Works well but unless they are saved with low resolution they can become really big.. This must be why they limited the motion to small areas. Only the changes are saved.

I agree. Here only my eyes (well, suppose to be only my eyes) are moving and rest is a single image. I have some other ideas - if they come out I will post them here.
