Amazing sky

We had a fabulous sunset display yesterday. I shot this from our back deck looking SW.

I did nothing to these except for a minor exposure adjustment. The colors are just as the camera captured them.

Thank you all for your kind remarks. I really don't think I should take any credit for this photo...I just pointed the camera and pressed the shutter. It was just a fortuitous combination of atmospheric conditions.

True, but it's your composition and exposure that makes this so wonderful. No over saturation, no fake HDR, . . . no Adobe sky replacement

You framed the sky and tree line perfectly. Being at the right place at the right time with a camera to get that drama is a skill. I would print that on some canvas.

You certainly could not be faulted for thinking that because they are very similar. But it is two different images taken about two minutes apart. I probably should delete one from this thread.

You're right, but the only way I was able to convince myself that you're right is by downloading both files and reviewing the metadata.
