Done with my old Mamiya C220, which I should have never sold!
Just a heads up; you might want to put the Content warning Icon for this posting.
Why? Have cigarettes become that offensive?
beautifully done... tasteful, elegant, and raw... all at the same time
 Yep. The smell just about kills the mood.
Very cool picture though!
Lol! I like the ambience and composition of this one. Also, something very universal and timeless about it! Truly excellent, Ned!
i agree with this, and cant say it better.
Beautiful light Ned.
I love the challenge of composing for a square format, and have often toyed with the idea of getting a "grown up" square format cam, like a Bronica or similar.
Nah I've just seen other posts get dogged out for less
Very nice atmosphere Ned. I too like the square format and like Ned with his Mamiya C220 should never have sold my Hasselblad
very well done
in-fricking-credible. One of your best ever. Tone, mood, story, lighting all sublime. I won't even ask what that syringe-like apparatus is lower left.
It's a dagger Mike.
ahh! The mystery deepens......
Ever read any Shakespeare?
Sorry to be the Balrog in the woodpile, but I think this is close but no cigar.
The image is so dark that I can barely make out the woman.
I realize that the most erotic images are those that don't reveal everything, but rather leave some things to the viewers imagination. However in this case I think the concept has been taken to the extreme, and doesn't work.
time to calibrate maybe. Everything you need is there and very distinct on my system.
I agree. At first I though it was very dark, then I realized I needed to tilt my laptop monitor. I think the exposure is right on. It balances the dark and the bright window nicely.
I want to know about the dagger too..
