Here is my attempt at macro photography (well at least trying to capture some insects). These were taken without the use of a tripod. Comments and suggestions.....

Mark; Just love #1, maybe darken/clone out the bright spot in the lower left corner. Given the opportunity a tripod is the way to go. Myself? I cant even imagine handholding a macro setup.
Where-abouts in Queens? I was born and raised in Woodside.

Thanks for the comments Will.....I'm in Howard Beach, but lived mostly in Woodhaven during my younger years.

What a great start -- they sure look better than my first macros!!!

I haven't had any luck at all shooting insects with a tripod. They move too quickly for me.

They look good to me!

I'm another one who can't even imagine trying to use a tripod to take shots of insects, they don't hang around for long
