This morning was an especially nice morning weather wise and wildlife wise. I found lots of birds one of which is rather rare and very skiddish and I've never gotten any shots of (Sora) while the other one although around here is hard to find (Little Green Heron). All shot with Nikon D5, 600mm lens with TC1.4II attached.

Superb shots, Randy! Nice to see you give the D5 a little attention! ;) Call me crazy, but I just really prefer the Nikon colors to the Sony colors!

All beautiful Louie. #6 should be sold to National Geographic. (y)
Hi Rick, and thank you very much for you vote of confidence in my images, really appreciate it.
Nice ones - like the sora images - very hard to find.
I see you used your Nikon.
Thanks Allan, this was the very first time for me in spotting a Sora and then getting a few shots of it. As to the Nikon, it's been a few months since I even picked my D5 up so I thought I'd give it a work out for a morning, it's still an unbelievable camera.

What a great walk around the pond! Little greenies remind me of a Dickens character. Love the detail and background on the GBH. And of course the Eagle catch is fantastic
Thanks very much Bob, every now and then you just get lucky. I was very pleased with what I found on this morning.
Wonderful set. Getting a Sora in the open is awesome!
Thanks Alex, the Sora was my biggest surprise, a first for me.

Thanks Karen, there is a difference but I just deal with it.
Fantastic series. I have never seen a Sora before.
Thanks a lot Luis.
All well done Louie.
Thanks Bill.
