Dave,

Cool. Let me know if I can help. We all go through this confusion at first (at least most do....;-)). Once you get it right one time, it will seem easy. 8)

alright pics are at dmwphoto.smugmug.com taken today with the d2x, 70-200 2.8 vr and 1.4 tcIIe, handheld. was testing a number of things, cropability of the d2x, capability for handheld shots when needed on the 70-200 lens, added the TC just cause i bought that too. will post some from the 200-400 vr with the TC added in a bit. how do I link these to the post?

Get the URL of the photo from your site pbase or equal.
Make copy of url.
Then in message box click on "Img" then paste the url making sure that it ends with " .jpg " then click on " Img " again.
Thats it.

Do a preview and you should see your picture.

How's that (I just changed the 'Ti' - for tiny in your links, to 'L' for large)??

that is great, Frank. Where was that? Is is something I should do on future pics? I finally went to FAQ's after Birger's post and found some useful help.

Dave,

The link in your original post looked like this:

Code:
http://dmwphoto.smugmug.com/photos/18775821-Ti.jpg
The Ti is smugmug's code for Tiny, which just asks smugmug to send you a very small image.

Code:
http://dmwphoto.smugmug.com/photos/18775821-L.jpg
I just edited the link so that the Ti was replaced by an L, which tells smugmug that you want the Large version of the image. You can do this directly from smugmug, or edit the link after you have pasted it into your Cafe post. Either works fine.

Of course, you do still need the tags around the link like you did on your post. It should look like this before you click Submit:

[code][img]http://dmwphoto.smugmug.com/photos/18775821-L.jpg[/code]

Does that make sense?

Frank
