Her face is very luminous, the exposure is perfect and the colors quite saturated.

Thanks Giles it was early morning and I used some fill flash as well. It made for nice lighting.

Andrea is one of four daughters of a doctor that lives near me. I took their family photo and afterwords captured a few images of the four girls individually. I tried to capture their personality and Andrea is the serious one of the group. To me she looks almost regal in this image.

Thanks Clive, I found it hard to do four girls at once and would have preferred to take them out for their photo shoot separately.

Classy image there Gordon. Too bad the white shirt has blown highlights, but it's hardly a death blow to an otherwise technically and aesthetically wonderful capture. That 70-200 makes a spectacular portrait lens!

If you lost the highlights to bring up the fleshtones, layering the original over the boosted image and erasing is a good way to have it all.
