Animals In Chile

Discussion in 'Birds' started by bobhoge, Apr 4, 2005.

  1. We saw several different animals on our trip up the coast of Chile, March 1-15, 2005

We ran into a couple of herds of Guanaco's while in Torres del Paine National Park:
    18916001-M.
    They are related to Camels:
    18915993-M.

A Grey Fox in the same park:
    18915988-M.

Also in the Cameloids is the domesticated Llama:
    18916340-M.

We found a Scarab Beetle in a little park in Puerto Montt:
    18916294-M.

These large almost square bees were seen several places (here Isla Mocha), often on Fuscia blooms:
    18916608-M.
