I have seen the pictures here which have been "smudged", but I haven't a clue (or skill) how to do it, so instead I have used the anisotropic/velvia filter for these fungus/fungis. Hope you like 'em anyway.

Falcon-looks great. Which version of the filter did you use? (Name). I have a couple of them and don't get the results I want. Sure it is operator error on my part but curious about the one/s you used.
Thanks a lot for the comments. I used the two actions that Igor recommended, pOpArTiSt.atn and velvia_provia2.atn. and finally a lot of unsharp mask (170).

Wonderful!! This has a real story book feel to it. I've not had very good luck with this process. I will try again after seeing this fine result!!:smile:
