I would call this a wonderful photo if it was taken by someone else. Knowing how much more difficult it is to make a selfie makes this photo even better!

It may technically be a selfie (aka, a self-taken shot) but as Mike says it's much better than that. A true selfie has the subjects looking at their image on the smartphone screen (not the lens) and making some sort of absurd duck-face or other pouting gesture.
You 2 are relaxed, photogenic and have real smiles! Congrats on the anniversary!
