The first is a Honey Bee collecting pollen and the second is another Hawk moth that feeds in flight. However unlike the Humming Bird Hawk Moth this ones tongue, (proboscis.) is rather short so it uses its front legs to position itself. Not a common species and only about 1inch in length.

The male bee has a disastrous sex life. Only one male out of thousands can mate with the queen bee. So first one there after mating puffs up its genitalia until they explode. This believe it or not kills the bee , leaves a plug in the queen so that NO OTHER male bee can mate with her.

I hope that I do not get banned for this bit of pornographic information.

Best wishes.

Watch those spaces!

Watch for spaces in your file names. Those aren't allowed in an URL. You can put double-quotes around the file name, or replace a space by '%20' (the hexadecimal code for space). I tried that here and it still didn't work in this case. Most people don't bother with the space conversion: replace them with a dash (-) or a hyphen (_), or concatenate the words together, perhaps mixing upper-case and lower-case for increased readability.

Bob :

I went into Janet's site and found these links :

http://www.jczinn.com/bob/Bee in Convolulous Flower 3.jpg
http://www.jczinn.com/bob/Broad Bordered Bee Hawk 1.jpg

I embedded them by clicking on the Img button (shown above the editing window), pasting the link, and then clicking on the Img button again.

The directory for your images is :

http://www.jczinn.com/bob/

Let's see if this works. You might try accessing the images from the site, and then copying the URL from the address bar in your browser (if you're not already doing this...)

I hope this helps.
