I've added more images to the gallery .

    Here is my current favorite:

They only come out in the evening, so you have a choice of motion blur, DOF or high ISO noise and light coming in at a 90° angle from the side. My keeper rate is below 10% and that is only by accepting so-so images at the moment ;-(
Fences make the AF go haywire it seems and I don't have enough mastery of MF for moving animals.
Images in the gallery so far are either shot with the 80-200/2.8AFS or the 300/2.8AFS.

But who cares about the pictures, they are so cute to watch (and I don't need travel through half of Germany to line up with more than 40.000 others each day to see Knut, the hand raised polar bear cub in Berlin which everyone makes a huge fuss about).

PS: Michael, its high time you show up here!

    What an adorable picture:>))
    Really good shot
  5. Cute one. You're right, the opportunity is great and there's no need to follow the Knut hype. I agree that the hype is extreme (the Zoo has some other little cubs which only get very little attention), but as I live only three underground stops away from Knut...

Daniel, how do you get through the crowds in Berlin? Yesterday evening there where 8 photographers at the fence. I hope after easter it's going to be less again.
For me it's a 15min drive. And I hope for wolf and lynx cubs soon ;-)
