Another day in India - Punjab Phagwara

  1. Water is not only an every day need but also a very spiritual and holy duty in the Indian philosophy.

    The photo was taken at Phagwara, a small town in Punjab with population ~ 100,000 with more than
    45 banks and 63 branch offices it comes in the Top list of Indian Sub-Urban Cities in Banking Business.

    Though I am originally from Eastern part of India, I think these are Milk containers used by Milkmen/farmers to deliver milk. :confused:

    Phagwara is also famous for a big cotton mill. A soccer team sponsored by JCT that is front-runner club in Indian soccer.
