Last month I made a lunch of octopus and a Greek salad displayed at https://www.nikoncafe.com/threads/cooked-octopus-and-greek-salad.317600/. Tonight's supper for my wife and me was octopus again but this time it was smothered in paprika and coriander and served on top of cumin potatoes and butter-glazed carrots.

Setup
The tabletop is white fabric. A small continuous-light lamp was on the left and a medium one was on the right. A polarizer controlled glare on the food.

Thanks for that article, Nick!

From the article: "Some recipes say to remove the purple skin after cooking. That's nuts. The skin and the gelatinous, almost fatty layer under it are some of the best parts of the octopus."

Every recipe I've seen said to remove it. I look forward to trying it without removing the skin if for no other reason than that I prefer the purple color for presentation purposes.
