Trying to crack this HDR thingy... what do people think to this one? Am I overdoing it a bit?

Super. The scene is very dramatic.

A very interesting scene. It might just be my old eyes:redface:, but I'd favor selectively moving the tones of the ground level objects a little towards the middle of the histogram -- leave the sky as is.

I too am new at the HDR stuff but I like this shot. I have found with my own work that the more I overdue the better the effect seems. I really like the effect that HDR supplies. Very nice image, but I would go into NX2 and use a few control points on the foreground. Make it pop a little more.

  6. I would scale back on the tone mapping a tiny bit.... maybe to even things out a bit.
