Another pollinator--just so so

  2. The bee is very sharp, were you at the maximum magnification for that lens?

    I seriously doubt it, since this was shot "on the run" and hand held. I was using auto focus since it was a moving object, so don't really have a feel for the magnification. I feel that it is slightly oversharpened and a bit contrasty.

    Looks good here Jerry. Don't see any halo from oversharpen....

    You may see it at full rez on your end. But you know how the net is :>)))

    Great catch.

    Wish I was that fast...

    How slow is the 200 f/4 in AF

    It IS slow, typically. But since I knew pretty much the distances I would be working, having the lens set to LIMIT made for a pretty decent setup. The bees were working the azalea bush pretty heavy, so focusing was quite short. Of course, luck had a lot to do with it, as is the case for MOST of my photos :oops: . P.S. also note that I was using AF-C and this helped a lot.
