Bumble bee in flight, just so so.
The bee is very sharp, were you at the maximum magnification for that lens?
I seriously doubt it, since this was shot "on the run" and hand held. I was using auto focus since it was a moving object, so don't really have a feel for the magnification. I feel that it is slightly oversharpened and a bit contrasty.
Sorry I can't provide you with an answer.
Looks good here Jerry. Don't see any halo from oversharpen....
You may see it at full rez on your end. But you know how the net is :>)))
Wish I was that fast...
How slow is the 200 f/4 in AF
Your pic looks quite good to mes
It IS slow, typically. But since I knew pretty much the distances I would be working, having the lens set to LIMIT made for a pretty decent setup. The bees were working the azalea bush pretty heavy, so focusing was quite short. Of course, luck had a lot to do with it, as is the case for MOST of my photos . P.S. also note that I was using AF-C and this helped a lot.
Thats a nice capture Jerry, there hard to get, I have tried many times.
