Oh yeah!!! I see that you didn't burn out highlights on your white aircraft like I did. You need to give me some pointers on how to set upmy camera. Nothing at all wrong with these images, Mike. That guy flying the Oracle plane is unreal...talk about "NO FEAR"!!!

Mike, these are great shots! They look pretty clear to me which makes me wonder if you cropped them a bit how they'd turn out. I like the shot with the curly-q smoke trail! ;)

I think it happened way out over the lake. Us poor folks on the shore wouldn't be able to see that.:smile:

Nice work, I missed the show when it was up here in Milwaukee dangit!!!

BTW is that the USCG Buoy tender Alder?? I haven’t seen that one in years!! I was stationed one the Ice Breaker Mackinaw and would see that one once in awhile on Lake Superior.

I have to leave that answer to Frank. While I enjoyed the air show, it was for photographic reasons ..... . Frank may have been close enough to see the name of the ship.:tongue:
