I just returned from a quick trip up to Page, AZ to see Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and the Wave. Here are some of the shots from both Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon. There were amazing color changes depending on the angle and quanity of light entering the slot canyon.

Chris, there is so much to see in this area, you won't regreat a trip out here! The steep stairs were only in the lower canyon. The upper canyon has a level entry and you can walk it with minimum effort

Brian, these stairs were at the end of the lower canyon and they were the steepest.

Noah, I should have asked if any AZ guys wanted to tag along. I went by myself but could have easily hauled some AZ neighbors along!

Abosolutely amazing shots Haze. I just can't get enough of pictures from that canyon, maybe because I know the chance of me going there is zero, so don't hold back, post some more please.
BTW. Your profile shows you're a pilot, what and where do you fly?

    regards Jørn

Very nice. Did you notice the person peeking 'round the corner in the last one? When I was there years back, it was getting tough to get shots without people in them.

Thanks for all the kind comments! All the pictures were taken with a Nikon D80 and the Nikkor 12-24 lens. Jorn, I work for Continental and fly the Boeing 767. Most of my flying is to South America and the Pacific. I do an occasional trip to Europe and almost no domestic flying. Baywing, yes the Upper Canyon can get very crowded and sometimes it's a battle to get a clear shot. The Lower Canyon is much less crowded and far more enjoyable to shoot, if the steep ladders don't bother you.

  15. Nice series. Must have been pretty hot hiking out to The Wave!
  16. Just gorgeous. I gotta get there sometime.

Actually, I liked seeing the person; it gives me a sense of scale.
