We had a big parade in town this weekend, took an hour end to end, and being a fairly rural area there were lots of tractors in the parade. I really like the Allis Chalmers, I'd never seen one before.

All taken with the D80 and 18-200 VR.

Another sunny day in the great PNW! Nice shots.

My comment would be a bit overexposed.. .but a nice set of shots nonetheless.

Excellent series John! That is the first Allis Chalmers that I have seen like that. It looks to be a good restoration job on it. I remember well the old John Deer 2 cylinder tractors plowing in the fields when I was a boy.

Thanks guys, it was a fun parade. They look a bit over exposed to me too, it was very bright yesterday - it's the PNW I'm used to shooting under gray skys, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Usually I have -.3 dialed in, I don't rememeber why I set it back to 0...live and learn!
  6. I cut my teeth on the poppin' John, my brother and I still own the 60 John Deere my dad bought new in April of 1954 before he got me in December.

Nice series. The Farmall has a flat in the works, spent some time in the seat of one of those......
