Anybody use the new LF-4 lens caps?

My 24-120 also had one. Didn't pay it much mind other than wondering why Nikon needed to fix something that didn't seem broken.

I don't like them. For one thing, they are not as square cornered, and when trying to pick a lens up that is cap up out of a backpack, they are harder to get a hold of. That's enough for me, and like Don, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Also, less definition on grip lines means less traction twisting. I'll stop there, I don't like them.

I always store lenses down, using the cap to pick them out of my bag. Glad I just bought a few extra LF-1 (at silly price). Although the $35 for a lens cap for the 16/2.8 or 10.5/2.8 fisheyes makes the LF-1 seem cheap by comparison.
