Anyone speak Italian?

We rented a four bedroom two bath converted farmhouse for $900 a week in Chianti a couple years back. It came with a full kitchen, stove, table ware and refrigerator. We would shop at a tiny market town and the foothills named Castelnuovo Berendenga. Some prosciutto and buns and butter in the morning for our lunches and we were good to go. We'd have lunch anywhere we took a liking to and bought a coke and feasted. In the evening we'd go to a trattoria in Gaiole in Chianti (la Romita) and for $25-$30 for the two of us we'd have a blast.

Italy is a fabulous place to visit. The Italians are such friendly helpful people...and did I mention the frugala Gelatti?
