Not here - works fine. What happens when you try to launch?

it asks if i want to restart close or report... says...

The application Aperture quit unexpectedly.

Mac OS X and other applications are not affected.

Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more details or send a report to Apple.

Have you tried running a consistency check or rebuilding the library?

Hold down the "alt" and "Apple" keys when you click on the Aperture icon, and keep them held until you see a new window appear with those options.

I'd go for a consistency check first of all.

tried it did not work... gave me the same error when it finished... i was able to load an older library... and it ran fine... but not the newer version of my library... ???

Did you try a library rebuild as well?

That's bad news - I hope you find a way to work it out. You can always get into the library to get your photos if you want to.

from what i have read i need to revert back to and earlier version... so hmm... how should i go about that...

I'm afraid I have no idea how to do that - it might be worth asking the question in the Aperture discussion forum on the Apple support site.

Where did you get this information from?

it is something to do with the last update 2.1.1 i reverted to update 2.1 and now all works fine... so much for the updates always working...
