Unfortunately, a thunderstorm came up (complete with a bit of hail :eek:) shortly after we arrived at the osprey nest on our friends' boat yesterday afternoon, so I didn't have much time (nor very good light) for shooting... Oh, well, just means I'll have to go back soon! :smile:

maybe try to remove some shadows in PP
I like d-lighting in Nikon Capture 4.4

Thanks for the suggestion, but I really don't have access to Capture 4.4 anymore -- the PC that it's installed on is pretty much retired. I have NX on my Mac Pro, I'll see what I can do with it tomorrow. (I processed these in Lightroom.)

checkout the Fill light tool in LR or d-lighting in NX (actually d-lighting is much faster inm NX2)
