Some from a small town (small) arboretum.
I already shared some views from there in the past.
These were taken in b&w. Some from another set, in colour, might get a b&w conversion as well.

Thanks, Mike and Terri!
Very much appreciated!

That's odd, Mike. I do this quite often.
Most of my series have a number of images with shallow depth of field as well.
I try for compositions that both make both use of the out of focus objects and the main "subject".
Limited by the surroundings of course.

I don't remember you using such shallow depths of field. Trying to get out of your comfort zone? :)
#4 is quite pleasing.

The colour set is not an exact overlap, Terry.
I have two posts in the Showcase thread for the KMZ Tair 11A 135mm f/2.8 (this is the lens I used for the colour set): here and here.
And if you don't mind stepping outside of the Café, you can have a look at the gallery in colour about this arboretum on my website: Het Leen - Eeklo.
Most recent images are at the beginning, oldest ones at the end.

These are very nice. I would love to see the color versions!!

:)
So recognizable.

How often I don't go into a room to fetch something, only to realize I forgot what I wanted or just plain forget I came in for a specific reason.
Since I'm just shy of 60, this has me worried!
But then I tend to forget about what I was worried

Really appreciated, Dossy!
Thank you!

I'm already heavily relying on outlook for reminders, both at home and at work.
(these don't fall of ?)

Strangely, these reminders never seem to be necessary

Lovely series, Bart! I really like the detail in #6 and #7. BTW, as being just a month shy of 73, start marking stuff with post-it notes....that's all I'm saying......:)

Thank you for directing me to the color versions. Your black and whites are very nice, but I'm partial to the color versions!! They are beautiful!!
