The last one shows my wife trying to get to Valhalla across the 'U' shaped
passage in the mountain. She got back home with me, though!

Dude,

thanks for taking the time to comment. Very much appreciated.

The pics really do not do justice to what the eyes saw, the mind interpreted
and what the heart felt.

Bless.

Hi Andy,

thanks for looking. I tend to saturate colors and contrast in my pics and
more often than not this leads to either blown highlights or dark shadows.

Shadows could be easily lifted in ps ( layers/blending/masking etc. ). I shall
keep your suggestions in mind.

Thanks and please keep suggesting as it can only add to my learning.

Take care.

Great shots (especially #4)!

Hi Tasnim,
I liked the shots very much. Gave a different dimension of openness and expresssion by nature. Did you have any issues with the camera in the cold that one should prepare for?

Thanks again,
Arif

Arif,

Thanks for looking. I had no issues with my camera/s ( d200+d80 ) or lenses
except that the batteries would drain much faster. By keeping the batteries
inside my inner jacket pockets things worked fine for me.

Regards.

Very dramatic!
I would also suggest to lift the shadow details particularly of the foreground in some of the pics, but very slightly - the sombre mood should not suffer.

Cheers
