Well the film has been processed and scanned and the images have finally been cataloged and stored. The weather here in March was wonderful. We have a few chilly days and nights and almost no rain. So I spent a good amount of time hiking on some of the local trails that I really enjoy. Hopefully you'll enjoy them too.

1. Playground at a local park. I chose this because I really like the tunnel effect and the textures and tones. Nikon FA, 28mm f2.8E, XP2

2. Some moss detail taken on the Ross Prairie Loop Trail. This trail goes through Oak Hammocks, Pine Forest and Florida Prairie Grass Stands. The lighting can be difficult at certain times of the day. Nikon FA 200mm f4 AIS, 1/60, f8, contrast +10 in GIMP.

My project camera for February was the Nikon F5, a truly wonderful camera. It have tons of features, great weight, and a grip that feels like it was custom made for my hand. A pleasure to hold and shoot. The film was Portra400. I love the colors this film delivers. Film was developed and scanned by The DarkRoom.

1. A bit of whimsy. My wife came home from a shopping trip with this little fellow for me. He's about 3 feet tall and has a great look on his face. His name is C. Moorehi- (you'll have to guess the rest).

2. The Appleton Museum of Art - this is our local museum. It's really quite a beautiful place and they have a terrific collection. It's associated with the College of Central Florida and Florida State University. We get some very nice travelling exhibits in addition to the standing collection.

3. This sculpture was recently added to the Appleton Collection. I really like it. Stainless steel, glass, plastic, painted steel and stone brought together to produce a beautiful flow.

There are other sculptures around the Museum that I really enjoy and so I'll post some photographs in the Film Forum and a few other spots, keeping this to three images. Thanks for looking. I hope that you've enjoyed it.

Thanks Jeff. I'd hate to be without film. After a number of years of using only Kodak Gold 400 and Fuji SuperiaX 400, I've been gathering and using some others and really enjoying them.

Very nice Art. Well worth the wait. My favorites are number 1 and 3. It looks like a great area.

Thanks Larry. It is a really pretty place to walk. Lots of shade so the Florida sun isn't too overbearing and with the different ecosystems these trails cover it stays interesting. Not much in the way of wildlife here because it comes too close to some very busy roads.

Very nice set Art.

Thanks Morten.

Hi Les. It's easy to miss anyone's posts but glad you caught up. Thanks for looking. The second set are shot on B&W film - Ilford XP2. It's a C41 process film and I really enjoy using it. It could easily become my favorite film.

Sorry but I'm running way late on April. The film is partially exposed and still sitting in the camera. I'll finish it soon and get it processed.

Please accept my apology. I have not been able to keep up with this project and in fact still haven't completed the roll of film for April, let alone May. A very serious set of family issues have kept me from getting any photography time and this probably won't change for at least another 6 weeks. I'm hoping to pick the project up at that point and somehow make good on the back commitments.

As you can see, I never got back to this project. Sorry about that. I'm considering a 12-month project for 2015 but haven't decided if I could really have a go at it.

No problem on getting back to the project. Life gets busy and there are lots more things more important than these posts. If you can fit in the time it would be great to have you participate in 2015. I really do enjoy your work.

So I never made it back to this 12-month project and have not done much in photography in the past year or so. BUT I did make it through the Octoberfest and that's really helped to get my photo gears moving again. So I'm going to give a 2015/2016 12 month project a try. I'll start sometime in November 2015. Thanks for all the kind comments. See you in the next project.

Sounds great Art. I look forward to your images. I did not make Octoberfest this year and missed it. I need to go to the posts and see what everyone did.
