I can assign the func.-button to two things, and have done that, but when I want to assign the preview-button also to two things 1) horizon and 2) choosing non CPU-lenses, it can only one thing - the other - just set - dissapears ?

Tryed some times, but the same happens, whatever I start with.

  2. Here are the options:

    Preview *
    FV Lock *
    AE/AF Lock
    AE Lock Only
AE Lock (reset on rel.) *
    AE Lock (Hold) *
    AF Lock only
    Flash Off
    Bracketing burst
    Matrix metering
    Center-weighted meter
    Spot metering
Goto Top of My Menu *
    Live View *
    +Raw + NEF (RAW) *
    Virtual Horizon *
    None

    * Selecting this Item forces Button + Dial to "None"

It's in the manual under "Assign Func Button" (page 320 on my soft copy).

    Thank you very much, Geof.

I must say, that it is some hidden, but you found it.

  4. Yeah I noticed it on the D300 and again on the D700. I don't know why it does what it does but I've worked around the odd behavior.

I use the func for bracketing - both possibilities set to the two bkt-ways.

But I will find another way using the preview-button - I do not want to use the AE-L-button or another.
