    Good 300 f/4 shots.
  10. Well that will humble a guy. Ron those are great. But what made me just plain drool was that ring necked pheasant. What color! The bug is pretty darn fantastic as well. I almost didn't notice the puffin ;-)

Ron, very impressive and inspirational. I just got a 300 2.8 AFS-II and took it out today to practice. I don't think my images were very sharp, but I will keep trying.

  15. Wow...the eagle shots are amazing. What an awesome series! Thanks for sharing these.
  16. Ron, those eagle shots remind me of the mental image I have had of eagles ever since I was a little kid. It is straight out of "America the Beautiful". Looking at the second picture, I think it is the background environment that really sets it apart for me.

Thanks so much for sharing these! It is enough to make me want to become a birder.
  17. Ron,
Amazing images - gives me a definite target to work towards.
  18. My camera is going out with the trash!! LOL Great work Ron, thank you for sharing these inspiring images.
  19. The eagles are spectacular but I have to say the Ring Necked Pheasant's color are breath taking. Wll done Ron! Was the loon taken at our seminar in Oct 2005?
