Astene is a small village on the river Leie with a lock and access to a dead arm of the river.
Makes for a nice walk. From the end of winter.

Thank you, Nick, Mike, Klaus and Binnur!
Very much appreciated.

Nice peaceful feeling. #2 is so interesting for its mix of bicycle riders---fast, slow and in between. #4 and 10 are super exposures/compositions.
Another very enjoyable series! #3 makes me feel as if I'm walking on the path.
Well, that surrounding is marvelous and very well photographed.

Bart, thank you for showing
Klaus

I really like 3, 4, 8 and 10. For me, 8 and 10... are wow images. The entires series is impressive, but something about the the composition, tones, processing...just really jump out to me on 8 and 10. My favorites!

Thank you, Dossy!
Very much appreciated!

I walk there from time to time and the scene in #3 practically always gets included.
That dead arm of the Leie often acts as a great mirror, given there's not too much wind of course.

Wonderful series, Bart! Everyone has different combos of favorites; for me it's #3 (stunning) and the reflections in #10.
