What a day! I finally got to meet Randy Forshey and we went to Point Reyes.

I'm still so wired from meeting Randy that I could not sleep, so here I am at 3:42 AM (PST) fooling with a new computer.....finally got Nikon Capture installed, downloaded my files, and picked two to edit (I would like to get to bed before sunrise!).

I guess one of these belongs in the "Wild Animals" Forum......

We had some very overcast conditions, but got rather lucky at sundown.

I still haven't installed Photoshop (Elements) so I had to make do with Nikon Capture Editor......

Got lucky with this shot......we tried to get as close as we could but this one got spooked.....I caught it mid-air with all four off the ground.....

Fantastic sunset, and great timing on the DIF -- looks like it was flapping its ears for a little extra altitude:biggrin:

Thanks Bob. I was about to take a photo of this deer, and I was set for multiple shots, so when he took off I kept the shutter release down, panned and got lucky.

  9. WOW! What a stunning sunset! Love the in air action you caught too!
